2021 Kia Telluride for Sale in West Springfield, MA

Overview

Even though the Kia Telluride made its debut just one model year ago, it has already amassed a remarkable following with its impressive first run. The Telluride is Kia’s largest crossover, and it can seat up to eight passengers. Unlike other midsized three-row crossovers, though, Kia’s stand-out Telluride beautifully blends practicality with luxury. Its ride quality is ultra-smooth as well, and it’s filled to the brim with top-shelf amenities and a significant number of standard active safety aids. Besides including a lot for its price point, it also gets one of the best warranties in the industry. For 2021, the Telluride introduces a stylish Nightfall Package that adds black-painted wheels and trim, as well as a Towing Package that yields an upgraded seven-pin trailer-towing wiring harness. Remote start is also now standard.

Trims Explained

With a seemingly endless number of features, tons of modern styling elements, and class-leading passenger volume (178.1 cubic feet), the 2021 Kia Telluride is setting the standard for three-row SUVs. This upscale adventure vehicle seats up to eight and is offered in four trim levels: LX, S, EX, and SX. Their powertrain – a 291 hp 3.8-liter V6 and an eight-speed automatic transmission. – pair up with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and the maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds. These stats plus warranty coverage that’s hard to top have earned the Telluride wide acclaim in its first two model years. Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s help you decide which ’21 Telluride trim is right for you.

LX

The base LX doesn’t skimp on those sought-after amenities. It has 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, durable synthetic leather upholstery, a one-touch sliding 60/40 split-folding second-row bench seat that provides easy access to the 50/50 split third-row seat, and a dual-level cargo floor. Infotainment is handled by an 8-inch touchscreen and comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and a six-speaker audio system. With one USB media port, five USB charging ports, and three 12-volt power outlets, everyone aboard can stay as connected as they wish to the outside world.
The LX also includes the Kia Drive Wise Driver Assist Technology suite, containing forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, lane departure warning, driver attention warning, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The LX also has rear parking sensors, a rearview camera with dynamic parking guidance, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and adaptive cruise control.

S

The S trim ups its aesthetics with 20-inch wheels, dual chrome exhaust tips, a sunroof, and silver-toned roof rails and raises its comfort level with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, heated front seats, and a pair of captain’s chairs that take the place of the second-row bench and reduce seating capacity to seven. Its palette is also expanded with one more interior color and two more exterior paint colors to choose from.

EX

The EX returns the second-row bench seat and 18-inch wheels found on the LX, but the captain’s chairs and 20-inch wheels can be added back with the optional EX Premium Package. Some of its other fine standard features are a hands-free liftgate, remote start, genuine leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, ventilated front seats, a cabin PA system, Quiet Mode (this feature focuses the audio system on the first row as preferred), a wireless smartphone charger, and second-row window sunshades.

The EX’s infotainment system is upgraded with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and integrated navigation, and highway driving assist is added to the active-safety slate. There’s even an optional Towing Package that will issue a self-leveling rear suspension and a tow hitch receiver. A new Nightfall Edition Package is offered, too, which provides striking black-painted 20-inch wheels and black exterior trim for a sleeker, more sinister appearance.

SX

The top-end SX receives all of the EX’s standard and optional features, in addition to dual sunroofs, a surround-view camera system, a 7-inch LCD gauge cluster, position memory for the driver’s seat, and a 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The available SX Prestige Package will load it up further with premium Nappa leather, rain-sensing wipers, and heated and ventilated second-row seats. The SX is also eligible for the Towing and Nightfall Edition packages described above.

Amenities

The base LX has 18-inch wheels, a rearview camera, keyless entry, remote start, push-button ignition, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 60/40 split-folding second-row seats, and reclining 60/40 split-folding third-row seats. The S adds a sunroof, 20-inch wheels, roof rails, simulated-leather seating, additional power adjustment positions for the driver’s seat, second-row captain’s chairs (reducing capacity to seven passengers), heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped shift knob. The EX loses the second-row bench seat and 18-inch wheels; however, it adds several more features like heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, a hands-free liftgate, a wireless phone charger, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather seats, second-row window sunshades, a power-adjustable passenger’s seat, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

The available EX Premium Package returns the 20-inch wheels, second-row captain’s chairs, and adds LED headlights. At the top of the trim ladder, the SX yields dual sunroofs, an in-car PA system, a surround-view monitor, and memory functions for the driver’s seat. The Optional SX Prestige Package provides premium Nappa leather upholstery, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and heated and ventilated second-row seats. The Nightfall Package is available for the EX and SX, and it swaps in black-painted 20-inch wheels and a black-painted exterior trim.

All trims also receive standard adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist (which helps backseat passengers leave the vehicle safely on the driver’s side), and reverse parking distance warning.

The LX supports a decent selection of tech for a base trim, as it includes an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free and audio streaming, one USB data port, five USB charge ports, and a six-speaker audio system. The EX upgrades to a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, while the SX s a premium 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
