LXS

Value is the name of the game with the entry-level LXS. There’s no shortage of remarkable amenities in this base trim since it comes with power-adjustable and heated side mirrors, a power-operated trunk, proximity keyless entry, remote and push-button ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a helpful 60/40-split rear seatback with a folding center armrest and cupholders. The LXS also receives four USB ports (one for data and three for charging), plus an infotainment system with a sleek 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, voice recognition, and a sound system with six speakers.

The LXS has a generous supply of advanced safety features, too (forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, driver attention warning with leading vehicle departure alert, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, rear occupant alert, and safe exit assist).

GT-Line

The GT-Line gets a bolder exterior styling treatment with black accents and a rear spoiler, as well as LED fog lights and taillights, 18-inch wheels with Pirelli P-ZERO tires, a wireless phone charger, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel. Its seats are upholstered in a combination of synthetic-leather and cloth, with exclusive GT-Line logos. On top of that, the multimedia system complete is upgraded with a 10.25-inch touchscreen as well as navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio.

The GT-Line is also eligible for some nice options, like a panoramic sunroof, projector-type LED headlights, LED interior lighting, full synthetic-leather seats, adaptive cruise control, Highway Driving Assist (a semi-automated driving system), and an enhanced forward collision system with cyclist and junction-turning detection. If you order this trim with AWD, the front seats and steering wheel will be heated.

EX

Although the EX doesn’t have the GT-Line’s more aggressive styling elements or LED taillights/fog lights, it does get a few of its options (the panoramic sunroof, LED interior lights, and full synthetic-leather seats) as standard equipment. It also receives ventilated front seats, rear parking sensors, an additional USB charging port, wood interior trim, and rear A/C vents. Like the GT-Line, it qualifies for the available improved forward-collision system, in addition to these other options: power-folding side mirrors, active sound enhancement tech, a top-shelf 12-speaker Bose audio unit, driver’s-seat position memory, a heated steering wheel, a surround-view camera, front parking sensors, reverse automatic braking, and navigation-based adaptive cruise control.

GT

The performance-focused GT combines the contents of the GT-Line and the EX and adds a heartier engine, a quad-tipped exhaust, 19-inch wheels, sport-bolstered front seats, and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The GT can also be ordered with the same options as the EX, and while the ventilated front seats and rear parking sensors aren’t standard, they can be added back along with projector-type LED headlights and a leather-wrapped shift knob.
