The Kia Telluride continues its strong position in the highly competitive segment for midsized three-row SUVs. For the 2025 model year, Kia has upgraded safety across all trims by adding second-row side airbags and Highway Driving Assist 1.5 (stop-and-go and lane-centering capability with adaptive cruise control) as standard features. The two X-Pro AWD trims now boast an increased towing capacity of 5,500 pounds, up from the previous 5,000 pounds, and benefit from increased ground clearance.
Cabin updates for 2025 include terracotta interior color options and embossed front seats for the X-Line and X-Pro trims. Technology also receives attention with a standard 12.3-inch dual-screen integrated display, while digital key capability is available on the SX X-Line and above. The X-Line and X-Pro variants further differentiate themselves with new-for-2025 gloss-black exterior elements, including roof rails and emblems. The 2025 Telluride comes with a five-year or 60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, ten years or 100,000 miles of powertrain protection, and a five-year or 60,000-mile roadside assistance plan.

The 2025 Kia Telluride comes in ten trims: LX, S, EX, EX X-Line AWD, EX X-Pro AWD, SX X-Line AWD, SX Prestige AWD, SX Prestige X-Line AWD, and SX Prestige X-Pro AWD. All versions have a 291-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 engine connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The LX is only available with front-wheel drive (FWD), while the S, EX, and SX have standard FWD or can be upgraded to all-wheel drive (AWD). As the AWD tag implies, all of the other trims come only with all-wheel drive. FWD-equipped Tellurides are EPA-rated for 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Fuel economy with AWD is 18 mpg around town and 23 mpg on the open road.
The entry-level LX is configured eight-passenger seating. It has SynTex leatherette upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, five USB ports, automatic LED headlights, heated power side mirrors with integrated turn signals, 18-inch alloy wheels, a 4.2-inch digital driver information display, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The S brings seven-passenger seating via second-row captain’s chairs. It also adds a power sunroof, heated front seats, a power liftgate, wireless device charging, a leather-wrapped gear shift knob, roof rails, LED cabin lighting, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The EX variants upgrade to leather upholstery while offering eight-passenger seating (the seven-passenger configuration is optional), heated and ventilated front seats, an eight-way power front passenger seat, LED rear taillights, power-folding side mirrors, sound-reducing windshield and front door glass, second-row sunshades, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, woodgrain interior accents, and an additional USB port. The X-Line and X-Pro offer enhanced off-road capability with AWD, higher ground clearance, and rugged styling. The main differences are that the X-Pro comes with 18-inch wheels and all-terrain tires (versus 20-inch on the X-Line), a higher towing capacity of 5,500 pounds (compared to 5,000 pounds), and a 110-volt power outlet in the cargo area.
The EX X-Line AWD includes seven-passenger seating, unique exterior treatments and interior accents, and a self-leveling rear suspension. The EX X-Pro AWD builds on the X-Line’s capabilities with the aforementioned all-terrain tires and cargo area power inverter. The SX adds eight-passenger seating (with an option for the seven-passenger configuration), dual sunroofs with fixed rear glass, dual 12.3-inch curved integrated displays for instrumentation and infotainment, a ten-way power driver’s seat with anti-fatigue lumbar support, a driver’s memory system, LED fog lights, power-folding side mirrors with reverse tilt-down, ambient LED cabin lighting, digital key capability, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The SX X-Line AWD adds the X-Line’s off-road enhancements to the contents of the SX package. The standard features on the SX Prestige AWD expand to include Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated second-row captain’s chairs, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and an additional 110-volt power inverter in the second-row center console. The SX Prestige X-Line AWD combines the premium features of the Prestige with the X-Line’s enhanced capability package. Topping the range, the SX Prestige X-Pro AWD provides maximum off-road readiness with all-terrain tires and additional utility features while maintaining the Prestige’s luxury appointments.
